Alongside 52 entries from architectural firms all over the world, the Choros Sifakis Architects team participated in the “International Ideas Competition for the Design of the Surrounding Area of the Ancient Theatre A’ of Larissa”.
Our vision’s conception begun 5 months ago and is characterized by the creation of a language that can be perceived by anyone, similarly to the architectural one, translated in a crossed path of Morse signs. This new “language” will act as a constant point of reference, regardless of world conditions such as, severe climate changes, wars and adverse economic conditions. With great sorrow we have realized how our idea is currently more relevant than ever, however, this challenges us to find ways to confront and adapt to the troubles of our times.
Οur team is very pleased and proud with our submission, having come up with an architectural proposal that sets the foundations for the rebirth of a city where the old and contemporary elements of its urban fabric merge harmoniously.
