Katerina Sifaki

Katerina Sifaki was born in Athens in 1982, she graduated the Technological Education institute of Piraeus in 2009 with speciality in mechanical engineering.

In the last 10 years she specializes in the field of engineering studies and mechanical installations.

During her working years in CHΩROS by Sifakis Architects she has been involved in numerous projects performing the environmental upgrade while issuing permissions for both retail shops and residences.

Her postgraduate studies were on “waste management”, with vanguards and innovative proposals on waste and were completed in 2018. In particular, her Thesis was titled “Synthetic wollastonitic glass ceramics derived from recycled glass and medical waste incinerator fly ash”. The experimental part was conducted with analytical methods in the laboratory of Metallurgical for the School of Mining-Metallurgical engineering of NTUA.
